WOMEN'S MINISTRY - TLC TUESDAY MORNINGS

The Power of His Fragrance in our Lives

"But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and
through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Him.
For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing."
2 Corinthians 2:14-16

Track 1: With All Their Hearts - Teaching Your Kids to Love God by Christine Yount
Drawing powerful principles from the Bible, this class will explore ways parents can help children
love God with all their hearts. Each of the compact chapters begin with a Scripture verse and
ends with a list of questions for reflection.

Track 2: Forgotten God: Reversing Our Tragic Neglect of the Holy Spirit by Francis Chan
This study offers a compelling invitation to understand, embrace, and embrace the Holy Spirit's
direction in our lives. In the Name of the Father, the Son, and ... the Holy Spirit ... We pray in the Name of all three, but how often do we live with an awareness of only the first two? As Jesus ascended into heaven, He promised to send the Holy Spirit -- the Helper -- so that we could be true and living witnesses for Christ. Unfortunately, today's church has admired the gift but neglected to open it. Breakthrough author Francis Chan rips away paper and bows to get at the true source of the church's power -- the Holy Spirit! Chan contends that we've ignored the Holy Spirit for far too long, and we are reaping the disastrous results!

Track 2: Unveiling Mary Magdalene by Liz Curtis Higgs

Discover the Gospel truth about the most myth-understood woman of the New Testament.
Was Mary Magdalene a prostitute? An adulteress? The wife of Jesus? An ancient goddess?
Liz Curtis Higgs, best-selling author, combines heartfelt contemporary fiction with extensive
Biblical research to bring to life the real Mary Magdalene of the Bible!

Track 3: Jonah - Life Interrupted by Priscilla Shirer
Interruptions. They're aggravating. Sometimes infuriating. They make us want to tell people what
we think of them. But how we handle interruptions actually tell us more about ourselves!
The existence of Jonah, the prophet, was interrupted by a call from God that would require a
complete change of life! It scared Jonah enough to make him run in the opposite direction! Yet,
what seemed to him to be an unnecessary and useless interruption was really an opportunity for
Jonah to be involved in something the likes of which the Old Testament world had never seen
before! This interruption was really a divine intervention and it held more adventure and possibility
than he could have ever imagined!

Track 4: Here and Now ... There and Then by Beth Moore
(continued from previous session for current participants)
Through this DVD-driven Bible study, Beth presents many points of view allowing women to decide
for themselves when the interpretation varies among scholars. She teaches that God is a specific
about what He does reveal as He is about what He does not reveal.
