Scrapbooking, Card Making, and More Retreat       
Saturday, February 25   8:00 am - 5:00 pm     Simpson Center

This retreat is free for everyone but registration is required by February 19.
(due to space limitations, preparations, and set-up).

Who may attend this "Scrapbooking, Card Making, and More Retreat"?
   Ladies who:
        * Scrapbook (Traditional, Digital, or Hybrid)
        * Make Cards
        * Make Jewelry
        * Knitting, Crocheting, Cross-Stitching
        * Any Similar Hobby!

What is this "Scrapbooking and Card Making Retreat"?
   Think of this retreat as:
        * a getaway to start or finish projects!
        * a great opportunity to meet others who share your hobby!
        * a time to share non-consumable items with others! (e.g.,: Cuttlebugs, punches, decorative scissors, etc.)
        * a short vacation from obligations to do what you love to do!
        * a way to be productive and spend time with friends -- at the same time!

What should you bring to the retreat?
        * Guesstimate your regular rate of work and plan accordingly.
        * Bring what you need for projects you want to work on (paper, ink, stamps, adhesives, markers, cutter,
               laptop, extension cord, extra lighting, yarn, etc.) ... and a tablet and pen -- in case you want to write
               down tips, techniques, inspiration, web sites, etc. others share with you!
        * Sweet and/or salty snacks and beverages for yourself and, if possible, a similar snack to share
               (please do not bring greasy or messy treats).
        * There are several restaurants and fast food places near by if you get hungry!
        * Friends!
        * Your lovely smile and sweet attitude!  :-)

Will there be a Bible Study?
         * Yes! From approximately 11:30 am until 12:15 pm there will be a time set aside for all of us to focus on
            God's Word! A challenge to memorize a Scripture verse or two will also be included! Here is the listing of
            Scripture verses we have been challenged to memorize so far: Romans 10:9; 1 John 1:9; John 10:24;
            Romans 8:28; Psalm 27:14; Philippians 4:6-7; Jeremiah 29:11; and Psalm 33:20.

Will there be a swap section?
         * Yes! If you have unused die-cuts, stickers, papers, stamps, ribbons, yarn, patterns, or other items
            and you would like to trade for someone else's bring them! There will be a designated area for a
            respectful, reasonable, and kind free-for-all.

Will there be a scrapbook teachers?
         * No, the attendees are scrapbookers or card makers who have set time aside to work on and/or complete
            projects. Although everyone is encouraged to interact with each other, we do ask that you respect
            each other's time and personal workspace. If you would like to be taught how to scrapbook, not merely
            get quick ideas from others, this retreat will not fulfill your need in that manner.

Will there be a Stampin Up® demonstration?
          * Yes, at 1:15 pm.
             Please consider supporting the demonstrator and expressing your appreciation for her time
             by placing an order of scrapbook or card making supplies! If you do not place an order, but you participate
             in the demonstration and make the takeaways, please consider donating $5.00 to help cover the
             cost of the materials used in the takeaways.

Will there be a Scrapbooking demonstration?
          * Maybe! Come back soon for an update. 

Will there a knitting or crocheting demonstration / teaching session?
          * Maybe! If someone is willing to do this ... we will have it!
             Email Luann if you would like to volunteer to teach knitting and/or crocheting!
