Discover North-Mar!  Membership Class!

          People attend our Membership Class for a variety of reasons. Some come to investigate our church, others to get a better grasp on our denomination, and still others to commit themselves to a church, a family.

          Family! That’s how we see it here at North-Mar. The people that come in and out of our doors each week, serving and growing, are our family. We experience the joys and sorrows that life brings and do it all with an eye to glorifying Jesus.

          In every family there are chores to be done, rules to follow, and special times of the year when we celebrate. During the class we will help you understand what all of those things look like at North-Mar. In fact here is a quick overview of our time together:

           * Expectations and Spiritual Gifts:
                    What are the responsibilities of a Member?
           * The History of Our Church and Denomination:
                   What is the Christian and Missionary Alliance?
           * Doctrine: What does North-Mar believe?

           * The Church Constitution Overview:
                   How does North-Mar live out what they believe?

           * Stewardship: Handling God's Money Rightly

           * Wrap-Up ... if needed

          We use an interactive guide to introduce you to our family. Along the way there will be fill-ins, things to read, papers to fill out and plenty of questions from the class! All of this is designed to help you determine if North-Mar is the right place for you and your family to worship with ours.

          We hope that by the end, each one of you will make the choice to join us in fulfilling our vision: To impact the world with Great Commission Disciples.

          We provide a relaxing atmosphere and plenty of fun! 

          The next two-day Membership Class will be held
          Friday, January 27, and Saturday, January 28, in Room D3.
